Oversized Custom Wood Vents - How Big Do You Need?
From time to time customers will have exceptionally large openings they need a vent for. Sometimes these are large returns or large openings in custom cabinets or media centers. We have even done large vents to fit into oversized stair risers.

Large Eggcrate Wood Vent Example - Dune Rd, Southampton NY
For a custom home on Dune Rd in Southampton NY, the builder wanted the eggcrate style vents to be flush to wall and made with all even sized holes. One Vent had a duct opening of 60″, and we made the vent in two pieces that butted together perfectly. Once the vent was painted the homeowner couldn’t believe his large return had been made in two pieces.

This linear bar wood vent was made in an insert/self rimming style for a customer to install in the wall of their own home in Israel. We made the vent in three sections so they could pack it into their suitcase and fly it home.
Best part about this project? The customer was much happier with the appearance of their home once the vent was installed.

Other times we are doing large custom vent orders and need to confirm that everyone is on the same page. Whatever the case may be, we can help provide you with the information you need. The above vent is 15 feet long. The longest vent we have done is over 20 feet long and was shipped to Martha's Vineyard.
