Working with Prefinished Floors? Let us stain your vents to match

Usually Flush Wood Floor Vents are sanded and finished when the floor is installed. If you are installing pre-finished wood flooring this is not an option.

We pride ourselves on staining and finishing abilities. Let us take the guess work out of things and finish your vents to match your flooring sample.

All Stain work is done to match a customer supplied sample. We will not stain vents just to a requested brand and color of stain.

Multi Step Finish? No Problem: Some of the more dramatic wood floors out there feature a finish that requires multiple steps to achieve (a white wash over a stain for example). This is no problem for our custom shop.

Got Texture?: While our vents are usually sanded smooth, we can also add texture to the vents using a variety of methods. This allows us to match wood floors that have a rustic appearance.

We ship our wood vents sanded and ready to finish. IT IS IMPORTANT TO FINISH BOTH SIDES OF OUR WOOD VENTS. This must be done to seal the wood against the dry air put out by heating and air conditioning systems.

Customer Painted Vents

A customer was good enough to share these photos of poplar wood vents they painted to install in ceilings. Note the customer painted both the front and back of the wood vents. Though these were sprayed, the vents can be brush painted as well.
